The meeting will take place at the historic site's parking lot from 1-2 p.m. It will be followed by a guided hike of the site trail. This out-and-back hike will cover a total distance of about 1 mile. The trail features natural surfaces and steep grades. It passes Native American burial mounds and leads to an overlook where explorer William Clark viewed the confluence of the Missouri and Osage rivers in 1804. Due to channelization, the confluence is no longer visible from Clark's Hill. However, the trail provides several views of the Missouri River.

Visitors who plan to participate in the hike should bring water, sunscreen and insect repellent and wear sturdy closed-toe shoes.
