Intro to 3D Design: Christmas Ornaments (Ages 9+)
We're inviting our friends (ages 9 and up) to dive into the exciting world of 3D design and create something truly special for the holidays!
What We'll Do:
Over two fun sessions, we'll introduce you to TinkerCAD, a powerful, yet easy-to-use, and completely free program. TinkerCAD is perfect for beginners, and once you learn the basics here, you can keep practicing and creating designs at home!
Session 1: TinkerCAD Toolbox: We'll explore the design interface, learn how to use the different shapes and tools, and practice moving, combining, and manipulating objects in 3D space.
Session 2: Designing Your Keepsake: You'll use your new skills to design a unique, small Christmas ornament. This is your chance to get creative!
When you're finished designing, LabSpace Robotics will print your ornament on our 3D printers! You get to take home a fantastic, personalized keepsake that you designed yourself.
