Hailing from the rolling hills of Canton, GA, STAGRR has been the undisputed pulse of North Georgia’s rock scene since 2002. This hard-charging quintet serves up a blistering blend of classic rock, Southern rock, and blues that turns every room into a sweat-soaked revival.
Powered by David Carlisle’s raspy, whiskey-soaked vocals, a bone-rattling rhythm section (Chuck Rogers on drums, Tim Williams on bass), and the twin-guitar firestorm of Dan Satterfield and JJ Fontaine, STAGRR channels the spirits of Skynyrd, the Allmans, and every back-road jukebox hero in between. For over two decades they’ve owned stages from Canton’s Rocco’s Pub to the Canton Icehouse, packing dance floors at breweries, bike nights, First Friday street parties, and private blowouts all over the region.
What makes STAGRR more than just another cover band is the way they make every classic feel dangerous again—sprinkling originals into sets that already have the crowd screaming along to “Sweet Home Alabama” and “Gimme Three Steps.” They’re the hometown warriors who never chased Nashville or Atlanta stardom; they just kept showing up, turning Canton and the surrounding counties into their personal playground of Southern rock salvation.
