About the event

Chili Cookoff - ALL NEW FOR 2025
Cook up your famous chili for the chance to be crowned the 2025 Newton County Fair Chili Champion.

Simply bring your batch of chili and list of ingredients on Saturday, August 9th between 3-3:30pm to the Commercial Building (closest to the Livestock Barn).

Your chili will be judged and enjoyed by local Veterans.
A TROPHY and CASH PRIZE will be awarded that night during the ATV Rodeo.
