Back in 2018 Laura Dobbs was in charge of the first Holiday Market, with the second following in 2019. They took place at the Legion Hut, here in Jasper. With Covid in full force, 2020 was skipped.
In 2021 Debralee Alexander took it over, moving it to the Newton County Senior Activity and Wellness Center. In 2024, when she moved out of our area, she asked me, Quinnell, to continue it for her, and for our community. 2024 was a very successful year. Vendors were happy and there were a lot of people shopping and buying.
Everyone is invited to come to this years Holiday Market on November 15th, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. We have such a wonderful variety of items! You can surely get a head start on your Christmas gift purchases. Vendors who have signed up, so far, are Tammy Hocut, Ann Merian, Juanita Morris, Jane Martin, Sandy Neighbors, Carol Peitch, Dawn Daniels, Sheri Mor, Shawnee Morris, Dana Byrd, and Mary Quincy.
