Plus experiments!About this EventOur one day alternative firing workshop covers 4-6 different techniques using our raku kiln and pit.We will have pre made pots or you can make your own (6 pots no bigger than 12cm square. Good joins and not too thick please made from a grogged clay and bisque fired) to fire on the day. All these processes are harsh on pottery so please bear in mind.We will be doing 4-6 different techniques and it’s a full on day so bring a notebook and full concentration!Class is limited to 8 people so we can answer any questions you may have and give individual attention.Adults only please aged 16 plus.Please wear warm layered clothing as this class is all outdoors.Bring your lunch too and we will provide hot drinks and biscuitsYou will end up smelling of smoke so don’t wear anything too precious!Also wear sensible covered shoes, long sleeves, no sandals thanks!There may be dogs at the workshop so please let us know if you have a problem with this.Any questions just shout.
