- **Event Description**: Anna Ivanova is an internationally recognized watercolor artist, who is established both in Russia and Spain. 
She is widely known for her sensitivity and elegance in portraying ballet scenes, portraits, still life and animalistic themes. Her works stands out for its emotional depth and refined technique. 
For the workshop in Stockholm, she has chosen figures in the costume, ballerinas and animalistic. 

Dates: , 27 (demo and friendly talk), 28 and 29 March 2026

The first day of the workshop begins with a couple of hours demo- Anna is going to paint one of her motives and demonstrate her unique technique for a broader audience. During “The friendly talk” you have an opportunity to ask the artist questions. Light snacks will be served.
After a break, participants, who bought tickets for the two-days’ workshop will stay for preparations for the coming workshop.

Participants during the two-day workshop will learn how to paint figures in costumes, ballerinas and animals.
The skills that she is going to share:
1. The principles of wet-on wet watercolor technique.
2. ⁠how to choose the materials for this technique and why they are so essential.
3. ⁠a few words about the colors and mixes.
4. ⁠how to create alive color tones.
5. ⁠the most important things about anatomy and special anatomy of the ballet dancer.
6. a few tips about color and tone and how to use them to show the difference in texture.

No prior knowledge of being able to draw is required.
 
During the course, you will receive individual support from Anna, based on your own level. Theory combines with practice. 

The course is given in English. 
The course will be held in a studio in Stockholm area. 
The course has a limited number of students 
The course coasts 4 500 SEK which includes two days’ workshop and a half-day demo.

Demo and friendly talk, as s separate occasion, coasts 350 SEK. 
You have to write your name and phone number, and which of the courses you want to participate. 

You pay a registration fee of 2500 SEK- which we will refund just in case of the course will be cancelled by the organizers.
