We’re starting the new year with something special at the Chautauqua County Humane Society — a full series of Activity Nights happening throughout 2026. These events are designed to bring our community together, open our doors a little wider, and give families and animal lovers of all ages a chance to experience the shelter in a whole new way.
And we’re kicking things off with a fan favorite - The Secret Life of Pets, January 29 at the Chautauqua County Humane Society, 2825 Strunk Road in Jamestown.
Our very first Activity Night will take place on January 22, and we’re rolling out the blankets and popcorn for a family-friendly Movie Night right inside the shelter. It’s the perfect mid-winter outing — relaxed, fun, and filled with heart.
Guests will enjoy:
• A guided tour of the shelter
• Bottled water
• Popcorn
• And of course, the feel-good movie: The Secret Life of Pets
This event is open to all ages, making it a great option for families, couples, friend groups, or anyone looking for a unique night out that also supports local animals.
Save Your Spot — Space Is Limited
Just a $10 donation per person gets you the tour and full experience, and because space is limited, we encourage everyone to register as soon as possible. You can reserve your spot today at chqhumane.org.
More Activity Nights Coming Soon
Movie Night is just the beginning. Throughout 2026, we’ll be hosting a variety of themed Activity Nights — each one offering a new way to connect with our mission and the animals who rely on us every day. Keep an eye on our website and social channels for upcoming announcements.
We can’t wait to welcome you in for a year of fun, community, and compassion.
