- **Event Description**: In this two-hour hands-on workshop, we will explore the sacred art of caring for a loved one after death and holding a home vigil. With an emphasis on presence, intention, and honoring your loved one’s dignity and wishes, you’ll be guided into a more intimate and celebratory way of meeting this tender threshold of life with knowledge, confidence, and grace.

We will cover all aspects of preparing and laying the body as well as creating a uniquely personal vigil that represents and celebrates the life of the one who has died, and the family and friends who gather in remembrance.

Facilitated by Deborah Parker, Educator in End of Life Home Care and Home Vigils who brings decades of experience, wisdom, meaning and joy to all aspects of the end of life journey.

Pre-registration is required. Register to attend: sacredjourneync@gmail.com 

Offered on a pay-what-you-can basis. Please contribute in a way that is comfortable to you.
