There is no entry fee and no need to be a Dakota Anglers member

Teams consist of one adult and one child
Age categories are: (0-6), (7-10), (11-13), and (14-16)

Teams can only fish one body of water with exception to lakes with active Zebra Mussel infestations. (Lake Ashtabula, Twin Lake, etc.)

Points system is on a multiplier for walleyes and northern pike. Perch, Bluegill, Crappie, and all bass species are not on the multiplier but will be scored as total weight equals points. Each team will be allowed to weigh “one person’s” legal limit of fish, except northern (only 3 northern). 

For example if a team weighs 5 walleyes for 10 lbs. and 3 pike for 10 lbs. the multiplier would be 8 total fish x 20 lbs. = 160 points. The same team also weighs 5 perch for 3 lbs. the additional points would be 3 for 163 total points.

Registration is from 8 to 10 am to the West of the Farmers Union Camp at the County park.

Fishing is from 10 am to 2 pm (teams may fish only one legal North Dakota water body, EXCEPT ZEBRA MUSSEL INFESTED LAKES).

Weigh-in is at the same location as check in at 2pm.

Trophies will be awarded to winners of each age class and largest rough fish.

A casting contest for each age group will be held, plus many other door prizes.

A picnic lunch will be served after the weigh-in. Please join us even if you don’t catch any fish!!

The Dakota Anglers will again be sending kids to Devils Lake Fish Camp in August. Ages 8-13 are available to register at the tournament and drawing will be held after the weigh in.
