Anastasia Egorova – Dog Agility Handler & Coach
Anastasia Egorova is an accomplished dog agility handler and trainer, known internationally for her skill, precision, and unique approach to distance handling. Her agility journey began back in 2004 as a junior handler in Russia, competing with her German Spitz and her mum’s Yorkshire Terrier. Even in those early days, her talent stood out – she went on to become Russian Junior Champion in both individual and team events under both FCI and IFCS rules.
As she progressed in the sport, Anastasia transitioned to working with Border Collies and found great success with her dog Chase. Together, they notched up multiple regional and national titles, representing the Russian National Team at the IFCS World Agility Championships from 2016 to 2018. One of their standout achievements came at the 2016 FCI Agility World Championship in Zaragoza, where they won gold in the Team Agility Large class and took out the overall Team Large category. In 2018, and were crowned IFCS World Champions.
Anastasia’s training philosophy centres around independence, distance work, and building a strong, trusting relationship between dog and handler. She places a big emphasis on solid foundations and body awareness work to support dogs’ long-term soundness and performance. Her teaching is well-known for its clarity and creativity, helping handlers understand how to set up dogs for success with smart lines and thoughtful cueing.
Since 2011, she’s been actively coaching, running seminars, and judging. Her approach resonates with handlers across all levels, and she has a growing global following. In 2022, Anastasia moved to Spain, where she continues to offer both in-person training and an ever-expanding online coaching program.
Her online membership includes detailed video lessons, coursework, and personal feedback – covering everything from weave poles and handling foundations to advanced distance work and course analysis. It’s a space for handlers looking to deepen their understanding and grow their skills at their own pace.
Anastasia’s thoughtful and modern approach to agility training, along with her championship-level experience, has made her a respected and sought-after figure in the global agility community – and a favourite with Aussie handlers looking to level up.
