Come rediscover yourself between the ocean and the jungle. Immerse in your yoga practice and nature at Vida Asana Retreat Center & Eco-Resort in Playa Hermosa, Costa Rica. With each morning salute the rising sun in an invigorating Vinyasa Yoga+Meditation practice. Afternoons are for exploring the beaches, going on any additional excursion of your choice, or simply relaxing in the art of doing nothing by the pool or in a hammock on the serene grounds. All 3 home cooked meals daily of breakfast, lunch, and dinner made from fresh, local ingredients are included. Evening practice before dinner will work up your appetite and ease you into a restful sleep.

This retreat is led by Kyle Roberts, yoga instructor, acupuncturist, breathwork specialist, Ayurvedist, and gifted teacher (and all around great guy!).

Vida Asana is a beautiful retreat center and eco-resort, that provides a combination of lodging, fresh meals, as well as yoga, surfing, and biking. They encourage their guests to soak up the sounds, smells, and visually appealing landscape, while letting go and allowing their soul room to breath. Their open-air jungle yoga shala allows nature’s symphony and natural beauty to create the perfect meditative backdrop to your practice.

IMPORTANT DETAILS:
Deposit of $500 due to reserve your room
A 4% processing fee will be added for credit card payments. This fee can be avoided by paying in cash, check, or via Venmo to Soluna.

Once you register and pay deposit we will send you an invoice for the remaining balance. The remaining balance will be due no later than March 15, 2026. If you sign up after March 15, the total amount will be due upon sign up. Final day to sign up is June 10, 2026, provided there is still availability.

Investment does not include airfare or additional travel expenses.
Cancellation Policy: Should you need to cancel your booking, a cancelation fee of $250 will be deducted from your deposit. All payments made towards the retreat are non-refundable after January 1, 2026 and will be used as a credit minus the cancelation fee for a future retreat or services offered by Soluna Yoga+Spa. Cancelations made within 60 days of the retreat are 100% non-refundable, and a credit will not be issued.

Travel Insurance: We highly suggest travel insurance and can refer you to a website to obtain this.

Arrival: To be included in the airport group shuttle transportation included in this retreat, you will want to choose the option of flight arrival time to San Jose, Costa Rica Airport (SJO) that is between 11am-2pm on the June 15, 2026. If you are unable to arrive in that window of time, we will arrange private transportation for you at an additional cost. It’s typically a 90 min drive to the retreat center, but the shuttle will stop at a cool sight seeing spot on the way to see crocodiles and will stop at a market for you to get additional snacks and drinks that you would like during your stay.

Departure: To be included in the airport group shuttle that is included in this retreat, choose a flight that departs on June 20, 2026 anytime after 12pm. If you choose a flight that leaves before that time, we will arrange a private shuttle for you at an additional cost not included in the retreat.

We recommend, if at all possible, to allow yourself to arrive prior or stay after the retreat to explore other locales in Costa Rica. If you arrive early, you can meet us at the airport on June 15 if you would like to be on the group shuttle. Or if you plan to stick around the country after the retreat we can coordinate transportation/rental car for you or you can ride back to San Jose with the shuttle.
  

ARRIVALS/TRANSFERS:

Flight and additional travel expenses are not included in this retreat. You will want to fly into the San Jose, Costa Rica International Airport (SJO). There will be one airport transfer each way that is pre-arranged for our group and is included in the retreat. The driver will stop at the famous Tarcoles Bridge, to see crocodiles in their natural habitat and will provide fresh coconut water for each guest, either at the airport or upon stopping at the bridge. Often an extra transfer is required for very early or late arrivals. If you require extra transfers or are an individual coming to Vida Asana, we can arrange transportation for you with one of our trusted drivers. The price generally runs $90 -$150 each way. Some exceptions apply.

 

About the Retreat Leader Kyle:
Kyle Roberts has been teaching Yoga for over 20 years and brings a fusion of Ayurveda and breathwork to the practice. He is also a licensed acupuncture physician, ayurvedist, and educator. Utilizing a rich blend of Chinese medicine and Ayurveda, Kyle works towards integrating classical healing methods with modern practicality by addressing individual health concerns through dynamic treatment methods to his clinic in Jacksonville, FL.

A graduate of Dragon Rises College of Oriental Medicine and The Ayurvedic Institute, Kyle brings academic depth and clinical merit to his practice. As a dedicated educator, he has lectured extensively on traditional healing principles across the globe, sharing his insights with audiences throughout the United States, Europe, Canada, and Central America. Kyle’s pursuits have also led him to explore various indigenous practices in South America, where he has participated in diverse practices with entheogens and other plant medicines.

Beyond his formal medical training, Kyle is a student of Jyotish (vedic astrology), breathwork, various meditation techniques, and herbalism. He firmly believes in the profound significance of self-discovery as an essential component for the cultivation of optimal well-being.

Residing in Florida, Kyle operates an acupuncture clinic while also teaching seminars on a variety of subjects of healing.
