Costa Rica 2027 retreat is at a magical place, Anamaya Boutique Retreat Center which is nestled in the jungle, overlooking breathtaking ocean views, in one of the most beautiful and charming beach towns, Montezuma. It is on the Nicoya Peninsula on the Pacific Ocean. This area is designated as a Blue Zone where people are known to live the longest and healthiest lives. This beautiful resort offers organic gourmet meals, luxurious spa services, stunning yoga studios with an amazing view, excursions and more!  Anamaya has been placed in many “top 10” or “best of” lists by journalists and reporters who felt that what is offered at Anamaya is among the best of the best around!!

At this retreat you will discover more about yourself.  Awakening Awareness, invites you to slow down, reconnect, and expand your consciousness through mindful movement, nature, and soul-centered exploration. 

Awareness is the foundation of transformation. When we become aware—of ourselves, our bodies, our energy, and the world around us—we awaken to a deeper sense of presence, purpose, and connection. Over the week, you’ll be guided through powerful daily practices designed to open your senses and your spirit including Yoga, breathwork, meditation and workshops with guided activities around our theme, journaling and group connection.

Each day explores a new facet of awareness—from self-reflection to energy sensitivity to recognizing the signs and synchronicities that guide your path. You’ll move, breathe, and live with intention while soaking in the magic of Costa Rica’s natural beauty. 

Lounge by the infinity pool, watch sunrises or simply be still and listen to nature’s song or schedule Spa services and or excursions. You can customize your retreat to do as much or as little as you like.  

Anamaya has 7 lovely rooms to choose from that are all unique, eclectic and beautiful.  You get to decide if you want more of a communal room or private room.  Here are the categories to choose from and the prices.  Room choices are first come first serve.   

These per person base rates include 7 nights accommodation with breakfast and dinner, and a daily snack each day.  

Nourish your body with healthy, soul-satisfying food! Most of the food is grown at their organic farm and it’s all gluten and dairy free with vegetarian and vegan options. They don’t serve red meat, but do have fresh local fish and chicken.  The food is known for being absolutely delicious as well as healthy.  The food is definitely a highlight of the Anamaya experience! 

Rooms & Pricing: 

Gaia Cabina.  Dorm style room with 5 twins.  Ocean View – AC – Ceiling Fan – Two bathrooms – Two Showers. The Gaia Cabina is one of our favorites. There are TWO lofts, each with its own ladder to access it, and there are two small, but beautiful bathrooms and two showers. 5 guests.  Bring your friends to share this cabina together!  $1900 each.  

Ganesh Cabina. 1-2 people in Queen bed. Ocean View – AC – Ceiling Fan – Deck – Desk – Hammock. The Ganesh Room is a favorite of visiting couples or solo travelers. It’s cozy and private, with incredible south-facing views of the ocean and southern Nicoya peninsula. $2400 each for 2 guests.  $2995 as a single room. 

Ananda Cabina. 2 people – One King bed (or 2 Twins). Ocean View – AC – Ceiling Fan – Deck – Desk – Hammock – Bathtub. The Ananda Cabina is our most spectacular accommodation, with the most amazing ocean views, great privacy, with a large beautiful bathtub. $2500 each. $3200 as a single.

Hanuman Cabina. 2-4 people. Ocean View – AC – Ceiling Fan – Hammock
Named for the monkeys frequently seen in the canopy in front of it. The Hanuman has a beautiful view of the ocean, and an open-air designer bathroom. One of the beds is built into a very unique niche, very queen-like. This cabina is ideal for two people, each with her/his own luxurious bed, but also works for 3-4 friends. $2400 each.

Prana Cabina. 1-2 people in Queen bed. Ocean View – AC – Ceiling Fan – Deck – Desk – Hammock. The Prana cabina is a favorite of visiting couples or solo travellers. It’s cozy and private, with incredible south-facing views of the ocean and southern Nicoya peninsula. $2400 each or $2995 as a single. 

Mantra Cabina.  1 person or a couple, queen bed. Ocean View – AC – Ceiling Fan – Balcony – Hammock. Located underneath our lower yoga deck, this room has a lot of privacy. It has a queen size bed and a private bathroom, with a view of the ocean, and a tree in front that’s a favorite of the monkeys. $2400 each or $2995 as a single.

Dharma Cabina.  2 people. Ocean View – AC – Ceiling Fan – Balcony. Originally this was a private room for the owners, but now its opened it up to guests. It’s located underneath our second yoga deck, next to the Mantra Room and is one of our most private. It also has a great ocean view, and a big tree in front that’s a favorite of local monkey troupes. $2400 each or $2995 single. 


Transfers  are included to and from SJO on January 30 (you must arrive by noon at the San Jose airport) and February 6. These transfers are only for these days and to and from this retreat. 

Flight is not included. If you are near the Newark NJ airport area, there is a United flight recommended that is nonstop and gets you there before noon and in time for the transfers that are included to get you to and from Anamaya.
