Join neighbors from across Jacksonville for a special evening that will build on the tradition of Sel & Angie’s Friendship and Gratitude Dinners—bringing neighbors together to share food, celebrate diversity, and strengthen bonds of friendship. It is inspired by a tradition more than a thousand years old, known as the “Abrahamic table,” where hospitality and shared meals open the door to friendship and understanding. At its heart, this dinner affirms a simple truth: people often fear or hate what they don’t know. By coming together to break the fast, we create space to learn from one another, to connect, and to discover commonality instead of difference, and choosing to love instead of hate.
