Create beautiful prints using a fun, easy process originally developed during the mid-1800s! Cyanotype printing is a camera-less photography technique that involves laying an object on paper coated with a solution of iron salts before exposing it to UV light and washing with water to create stunning white and Prussian blue images. Participants will be able to make their own unique prints using an array of options, including botanicals, stencils, transparency sheets, and more. No prior experience is required and all materials will be provided.

Instructor Kyle Brandt-Lubart (she/they) is a multidisciplinary artist, integrative mental health practitioner, and community arts organizer. She has facilitated arts-based programming at Places for People, Barnes-Jewish Hospital, CONNECT Community Center for Wellbeing, Thomas Dunn Learning Center and more. Kyle's art has been featured at St. Louis Artists Guild, Intersect Arts Center, Blank Space, Yeyo Arts Collective, and Des Lee Gallery among others. Her independent therapy practice, Tiny Postcards Counseling & Creative Arts LLC, focuses on offering holistic mental healthcare to queer, trans, and non-binary folx, neurodivergent individuals, and lower-income community members.
