The event begins Dec. 2 at 6:30 p.m., starting from Pelham Plaza (at 812 Pelham Rd S, by Johnson's Giant Food) and heading north through downtown and Public Square, ending near Houston Cole Library at the Jacksonville State University campus.

Travel will be suspended on Alabama 21 from the Whites Gap Road intersection to the Alabama 204 intersection from 6:15 p.m. until the parade ends (expect at least a half-hour to hour, allowing some time for the parade to start a little late, just in case). Parking will be prohibited on Public Square starting at 4:30 p.m.; vehicles will be towed at the owner's expense.

All traffic headed to the northeast side of town should divert to Church Avenue, and traffic to the northwest side should take Greenleaf Street to Alexandria Road.
