While only one team will be crowned the champion, the night’s clear winner is Sulzbacher’s Culinary Arts Program. Food Fight Jax, benefiting Sulzbacher’s job training program-- is Tuesday, March 17 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. inside the grand lobby at the Prime Osborn Convention Center.Guests will be able to watch the action in real time as the teams heat up in two commercial kitchens constructed inside a boxing ring, with American Culinary Federation-certified judges on stage to evaluate each round.Beyond the ring, dozens of Jacksonville’s finest restaurants, including Marker 32, Palm Valley Fish Camp, 14 Prime and Blue Bamboo Canton Bistro, as weak as caterers and private chefs are serving signature samples to guests, in a ringside competition for the People’s Choice Award. The event also includes music, open bars, live auction, 360 photo booth and more.The live auction items include a week’s stay in luxury condo in the Florida Keys, dinner for four at The Buoy and a sunset helicopter ride in the JSO chopper.Tickets for the event are $125.00.
