- **Event Description**: Festival of Sacrifice "Eid Al-Adha" Friendship DinnerAbout this EventAtlantic Institute of Florida cordially invites you to our Feast of Sacrifice "Eid Al-Adha" Friendship Dinner on June 2nd. We are truly excited for the opportunity to share our table with our friends and neighbors, a nice and common tradition that we observe after the Festival of Sacrifice. This tradition has deeper historical roots, dating back to Prophet Abraham, a person known for his subservience to God, hospitality, and generosity. It is also one of the two most important celebrations in the Muslim calendar. We will have a special meal called “Kavurma” (Turkish Roasted Meat) in order to continue this beautiful tradition. We will delve into the significance of the story of Abraham's near-sacrifice of his son across Christianity, Islam, and Judaism. Our aim is to foster a deeper understanding of these faiths and cultivate a spirit of unity among attendees.Looking forward to having you join us!The dinner is free. RSVP is required and limited to 3 per family to accommodate a more diverse group of people. Please register by May 30.
