About Laura Dowling
Laura managed White House floral design for thousands of official and private events, including state dinners, parties, receptions and large scale installations such as the Fourth of July and the iconic White House Christmas. Working alongside the First Lady and a dedicated team of volunteers, she crafted designs that honored tradition, elevated American artistry, and highlighted the architectural beauty of our nation’s most historic home.
About Designer of Distinction
The Designer of Distinction is an annual fundraising event that presents an expert in the field of floral design demonstrating and discussing his work. The presentation will be followed by a raffle of his arrangements and a three-course catered lunch.
