Welcome to the 2025 Navy Region SouthEast EMS Conference!
Join us for Day 1 of the 2025 Navy Region Southeast EMS Conference, where leading experts will deliver cutting-edge education in emergency medicine. The day begins with Dr. Colby Redfield’s In-Depth Trauma lecture, exploring TXA, calcium, vasopressin, and pre-hospital blood administration, followed by Kerry Bachista’s Advanced ACLS session covering double sequential defibrillation, active compression, and the role of steroids in resuscitation. Tony Hayes will also present on a topic to be announced, rounding out a robust morning of learning before lunch. In the afternoon, participants will rotate through hands-on skills stations, including Mega Code/Advanced ACLS, Basic Transport Ventilator, and Tactical Trauma Care with bleeding control. Day 1 is designed to deliver both advanced clinical knowledge and practical application, ensuring attendees leave with skills they can use immediately in the field.

Colby Redfield, MD - A board-certified Emergency Medicine and EMS physician, fellowship-trained at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. He serves as Medical Director for multiple EMS and hospital systems across Florida and Georgia and was honored as the Florida EMS Medical Director of the Year in 2022. As a Fellow of the Academy of Emergency Medical Services, Dr. Redfield is recognized for advancing prehospital care, provider education, and system innovation.
