Painting Tuckerman’s Ravine with Chris Muzerall , Jan 21-Feb 11, 2026

Join professional painter and local artist Chris Muzerall for a 4-week landscape painting class (choose your medium) focusing on painting Tuckerman’s Ravine in a realistic style. Chris will be working in water soluble oils and will also demo in watercolors. Students can work in any medium they would like including oils, acrylics, open acrylics, or watercolors. Chris will provide photos for students to use as reference and will cover color theory, composition, paint application, and how to plan ahead when starting a painting. By the end of four weeks, students will have a finished painting of Tuckerman Ravine and a good understanding of how to build up a painting. Jackson Art will provide a table top easel for each student, Class size is limited to eight people to allow for individual attention. Participants are responsible for bringing their own supplies. Some painting experience is helpful. This class is open to adults and high school students.
