Jackson State University African Drum & Dance Ensemble

Inspired by "Joe Overstreet: Taking Flight," the Jackson State University African Drum & Dance Ensemble presents a one-night-only performance featuring West African and Afro-Caribbean music and dance. Known for their high-energy shows in the U.S. and Gambia, the ensemble brings a family-friendly celebration of culture that echoes Overstreet’s own ties to African heritage and the movement found in his Flight Pattern works.
