Habitat Ginger Bread Showcase

​Tuesday, Dec. 16th all day until 7:30pm / The Wort Hotel.

The Gingerbread 5th grade competition is back for 2025! This event challenges the 5th grade students at JES to create an ‘affordable’ gingerbread home for a family of three, using only the materials provided, and explain how their design will best support the family. The house with the most votes receives the ‘Peoples Choice Award’ and the team with the most functional design wins the ‘Builders Choice Award’. The two winning teams receives a small plaque to display proudly in their classroom, commemorating their achievement.
