The Jackson County Chamber of Commerce is proud to join the Michigan West Coast Chamber of Commerce and chambers across the state for Community Impact Day on Wednesday, May 13, 2026.
This statewide day of service aims to mobilize thousands of volunteers turning small acts of service into a powerful wave of community impact.
🏢 Calling All Jackson County Non-Profits
We are now accepting volunteer project submissions from local non-profits! Organizations are invited to share service opportunities where volunteers can make a meaningful difference. Chamber member nonprofit organizations will be prioritized when placing volunteer teams.
Eligible causes include (but are not limited to):
• Advocacy & justice
• Arts, culture & environment
• Children & family services
• Community development
• DEI
• Education & skills training
• Faith-based support
• Health & wellness
• Youth development
Nonprofits will be asked to provide:
-A brief description of the volunteer project
-Proposed location(s)
-Site-leader contact information
-Number of volunteers needed
-Any tools or materials required
Submission does not guarantee placement or specific volunteer numbers. Final participation will be confirmed by the Chamber.
