Celebrate the inaugural lighting of the historic Butts County Courthouse as we kick off the county’s Bicentennial Celebration in festive style — complete with a cozy hot chocolate bar, face painting, and Bicentennial merch!

Butts County was founded on Christmas Eve in 1825, making this year the 200th anniversary. We’re honoring this milestone by transforming our beloved courthouse into a Christmas showcase, celebrating both our rich history and the spirit of the season.
