THE VISION:

If you want to impact a country, you must first reach its leaders! Working together with the local leaders in Ixtapa and Zihuatanejo, we hope to establish a sustainable platform to connect marketplace leaders! As a member of this team you will be involved in dinner parties, sector outreaches, business events and one-on-one interactions with Mexican leaders to impact their cities and country.

The city of Ixtapa has a population of about 30,000 and is a unique city, having been built in the early 1970’s on an old coconut plantation as a government-planned tourist destination. You will find high-rise hotels, stylish restaurants and outdoor shopping malls. This modern city, partnered with its traditional “twin city” counterpart, Zihuatanejo, are the perfect combination of Mexican culture. Because of it’s touristic nature, the business sector is primarily made up of food service, hospitality, and exploration activities. Ixtapa is also known for its sustainability practices and is recognized as a worldwide leader in responsible tourism.

As a team member you will receive our best training to develop your personal faith story and improve your skills as a speaker. You will also have opportunities to share ideas with other Canadian leaders and your professional experience with local leaders. This opportunity is designed to increase your leadership confidence, build relationships with leaders in Mexico and Canada, and to inspire you to make a difference back in your own city.
