UN, UNE - énergie féminine, énergie masculine
–– Un week-end pour se plonger dans l'énergie féminine et l'énergie masculine par l'expérience sensible ––
Féminin, masculin, ces notions nous renvoient rapidement à des questions d’identité. Mais que ce passe-t-il si nous les considérons comme des expressions d’énergie ? Des modes distincts mais complémentaires, fluides, dont la combinaison varie sans cesse en chacun·e en fonction des moments de la journée, de nos émotions, des saisons, de notre relation aux autres et à l’environnement...
Pendant ces deux jours, nous nous intéresserons au vécu somatique et existentiel du féminin, du masculin, et de leur relation. Notre exploration sera guidée par des pratiques de mouvement contemplatif, des temps de parole et un travail autour d’images (photo, peinture, carte postale…) que chacun·e est invité·e à amener et qui permettront de se mettre en lien avec ce qui nous inspire et nous nourrit dans les principes féminin et masculin.
La conduite de l'atelier puisera largement (mais non exclusivement) dans les ressources du Mouvement Authentique pour poser un cadre simple et clair, inviter à l'écoute, amener chacun·e à assumer la responsabilité de sa perspective et se fier à la part d'inconnu au cœur de son expérience.

Cet atelier est proposé par un homme cisgenre et hétérosexuel, en couple depuis vingt ans et père d'un adolescent, qui est au travail sur les questions de féminin et masculin à travers son étude de la Discipline du Mouvement Authentique, sa pratique de l'Aïkido, sa foi dans le pouvoir métamorphique de la danse, l'observation critique et poétique des modèles légués par sa famille et sa culture (voir Fields) et l'inspiration offerte par la puissance émancipatrice des luttes féministes.

BIOGRAPHIE
Julien Bruneau est un artiste dont le travail repose sur la présence, le mouvement, le dessin et le language. Étudiant et enseignant du Mouvement Authentique, son aspiration à la disponibilité et au non-agir est nourrie d’approches somatiques, énergétiques, contemplatives et mystiques.
Son parcours est marqué par les arts du corps orientaux et occidentaux, par la philosophie occidentale moderne et la pensée spirituelle de différentes traditions, par la paternité, enfin, et son engagement auprès de la femme dont il partage la vie depuis vingt ans.
Son travail mène à la performance, l’installation, la publication, les laboratoires et l’enseignement. Son premier livre, Fields, est publié chez Varamo Press (2022). Au printemps 2024, il créé la revue en ligne Traversée d’un souffle dont il est l’éditeur et l’un des auteurs, et qui porte sur la convergence entre arts du corps et voies spirituelles.
Il détient un master en arts visuels (ENSAV La Cambre, Bruxelles) et en chorégraphie (AMCh, Amsterdam), et a suivi le programme de recherche THIRD (Das Research, Amsterdam).

UN, UNE - feminine energy, masculine energy
–– A week-end to dive into the felt experience of the feminine and masculine energy ––
Feminine, masculine, these notions swiftly directs us towards matters of identity. But what happens if we see them as expressions of energy ? Distinct yet complementary modes, fluid, and whose combinations vary endlessly in each one of us, depending on the moment of the day, our emotions, seasons, our relation to others and the environment...
For two days, we will explore the somatic and existential felt sense of the feminine, the masculine, and their relationship. We will be guided by contemplative movement, speech circles and a work around pictures (painting, photography, postcard...) that each one is invited to bring and that will allow to get us in touch with how we are inspired and nurtured by the feminine and masculine principles.
The guidance of the workshop will largely (yet not exclusively) be drawing on the resources of Authentic Movement to set a clear and simple frame, invite listening, bring each one to take responsibility for their own perspective and trust the unknown at the heart of their experience.

This workshop is offered by a cisgender, heterosexual man, in a relationship for twenty years, father of a teenage boy, who is at work on the question of the feminine and the masculine through his study of the Discipline of Authentic Movement, his practice of Aïkido, his faith in the metamorphic power of dance, his critical and poetic observation of the role models inherited from his family and culture and the inspiration offered by the emancipatory power of the feminist movements.

BIOGRAPHY
Julien Bruneau is an artist working with presence, movement, drawing and language, and a student and teacher of Authentic Movement.
His longing for availability and non-doing is nurtured by somatic, energetic, contemplative and mystical approaches. His path goes through Western and Eastern arts of the body, Western modern philosophy as well as the teachings of various spiritual traditions, but also fatherhood and his relationship of twenty years.
His work leads to performance, installation, publication, laboratories and teaching. His first book, Fields, is published by Varamo Press (2022). Since 2024, he is an author and the editor of Traversée d’un souffle, an online journal he founded and which is dedicated the arts of the body and the ways of the spirit.
He holds a master degree in visual arts (ENSAV La Cambre, Bruxelles) and in choreography (AMCh, Amssterdam), and completed the research program THIRD (Das Research, Amsterdam).
