Our beautiful offices are located in Place Stéphanie, a short walk from Porte de Namur.🕘 When: 15 October, 9:30 am – 5.30 pm (8 hours, including a 1-hour lunch break)👥 Group size: To give everyone enough time to express themselves, the group will be limited to 10 people.☕ Included: We’ll provide refreshments and snacks throughout the day, but lunch is not included. However, there are plenty of places to eat near our training facilities.Agenda1. Preparing your remarksInfo: You'll start by identifying your audience and where you want to take them. From there, you'll learn how to be clear about the key points you want to make and to tailor your remarks to fit your audience.2. Working your audienceInfo: You'll learn how to grab your audience's attention and hold it throughout your talk. You'll also pick up tricks for bonding with a room, showing empathy and motivating listeners with examples and anecdotes.3. Projecting yourselfInfo: You'll build confident body language and stage presence, working on speech rhythm, breathing and tone of voice. You'll practise owning the stage by moving with purpose and speaking both with and without notes.4. Protecting yourselfInfo: You'll learn how to deal with nerves and handle interruptions gracefully. You'll also practise coping with tough questions, staying on message and improvising when the unexpected happens.5. Structuring your remarksInfo: You'll discover how to start strong and hook your audience from the first line. You'll learn to tame the middle of your talk so it stays focused and to finish with a flourish.6. Tailoring remarks for your platformInfo: You'll learn how to adapt to different settings, such as panels, online events and more. You'll also get tips on how to handle technical challenges and moderate events confidently.
