ESC 07 // BALJUW [Dewilde + Van Belle]

Baljuw is the improvisation project of Matthias Dewilde (Nagløed) and Nicolas Van Belle (Suura, Sarcastic fringehead) . Although the two musicians knew each other for a long time, it still took until 2023 for the two to being playing together, stimulated by a shared interest in sound , texture and transformation. A series of improvisation sessions and some tasteful performances followed , which only stimulated the hunger for more. Slowly the idea grew to translate the energy and excitement of this sessions into a record.
