- **Event Description**: L’Istituto Italiano di Cultura di Bruxelles presenta Dal silenzio a un nuovo mondo sonoro, una conferenza-concerto dedicata a due figure centrali della musica del Novecento nella ricorrenza del centenario della loro nascita: Franco Evangelisti e Hans Otte, protagonisti di una ricerca sulla composizione e sull’improvvisazione, sul suono, sul silenzio e sulle nuove forme dell’ascolto.

La serata si apre con una conferenza (ore 18.00–19.00) che vede gli interventi di Gianni Trovalusci, Presidente della Fondazione Isabella Scelsi, Irmela Heimbächer Evangelisti, già Presidente della Fondazione Isabella Scelsi dal 2014 al 2024, e Tommaso Vigna, dottorando in musicologia (ULB-FNRS). 

A seguire, alle ore 19.00, è prevista la proiezione di un docufilm dedicato a Franco Evangelisti (19.00–19.30), che offre uno sguardo ravvicinato sulla sua figura e sul suo contributo alla musica d’avanguardia.

La serata si conclude con un concerto affidato alla pianista e ricercatrice Giusy Caruso, docente al Royal Conservatoire Antwerp e capèo del gruppo di ricerca CREATION, con l’esecuzione di musiche di Franco Evangelisti e Hans Otte.
