For the sixth edition of its Autumn Waves Festival, the Belgian Federation for Electroacoustic Music invites you to four exciting evenings of sound creation, featuring a rich aesthetic diversity : electroacoustic and acousmatic music, improvisations, video music, new musical interfaces, live electronics and mixed music, with percussion, saxophone and Butoh dance. An immersive experience, performed on a large orchestra of loudspeakers, the acousmonium, which stimulates the
senses and gives a prominent place to Belgian composers, see the full programme on the back.
With a spotlight on the winners of the Prix CIME 2025, the oldest international competition for electroacoustic music, on China, and on the duo Mathieu Chamagne & Lê Quan Ninh, not to be missed. The programme will also feature gems from the repertoire, some dating back to the 1950s and 1960s, with György Ligeti, Jean-Claude Risset and Luciano Berio, as well as François Bayle, David Berezan, Ambrose Seddon and Christian Zanési. Finally, sound installations and a Max Meetup, dedicated to the use of Max software, will be offered free of charge.

Pour la sixième édition de son Festival Autumn Waves, la Fédération Belge de Musique Électroacoustique vous convie à quatre soirées exceptionnelles de création sonore, avec une riche diversité esthétique : musique électroacoustique et acousmatique, improvisations, vidéomusique, nouvelles interfaces musicales, live electronics et musique mixte, avec percussion, saxophone et danse Butō. Une expérience immersive qui, interprétée sur un grand orchestre de haut-parleurs, l’acousmonium, stimule les sens et fait la part belle aux compositeurs belges, voir programme complet au verso. Avec un coup de projecteur à ne pas rater sur les lauréats du Prix CIME 2025, le plus ancien concours international de musique électroacoustique, sur la Chine et sur le duo Mathieu Chamagne & Lê Quan Ninh. Le programme sera également parsemé de petites perles du répertoire, remontant pour certaines aux années 50 et 60, avec György Ligeti, Jean-Claude Risset et Luciano Berio, mais aussi François Bayle, David Berezan, Ambrose Seddon et Christian Zanési.
Enfin, des installations sonores et un Max Meetup, dédié à l’utilisation du logiciel Max, sont offerts en entrée libre.

Voor de zesde editie van haar Autumn Waves Festival nodigt de Belgische Federatie voor Elektroakoestische Muziek u uit voor vier bijzondere avonden vol geluidscreaties, met een rijke
esthetische diversiteit : elektroakoestische en akoesmatische muziek, improvisaties, videomuziek, nieuwe muzikale interfaces, live electronics en gemengde muziek, met percussie, saxofoon en Butohdans. Een meeslepende ervaring die, uitgevoerd met een groot orkest van luidsprekers, het akoesmonium, de zintuigen prikkelt en Belgische componisten in de schijnwerpers zet. Met een niet te missen spotlight op de winnaars van de Prix CIME 2025, de oudste internationale wedstrijd voor elektroakoestische muziek, op China en op het duo Mathieu Chamagne & Lê Quan Ninh. Het programma wordt ook verrijkt met enkele pareltjes uit het repertoire, waarvan sommige dateren uit de jaren 50 en 60, met György Ligeti, Jean-Claude Risset en Luciano Berio, maar ook François Bayle, David Berezan, Ambrose Seddon en Christian Zanési. Tot slot zijn er geluidsinstallaties en een Max Meetup, gewijd aan het gebruik van de Max-software, die gratis toegankelijk zijn.
