Dans cet atelier, au prisme de l’approche Body-Mind Centering® (BMC), nous allons explorer comment éveiller en nous-mêmes les gestes fondateurs du développement.
Cela nous permet de bouger plus facilement et d’accorder nos mouvements au milieu, ainsi que d’accompagner et soutenir les enfants à franchir les étapes de leur développement. 
L’atelier s’adresse aux parents, aux éducateurs et aux thérapeutes. Aucune expérience préalable n’est requise.

Un bébé semble apprendre sans effort à lever sa tête, à rouler, s’asseoir, ramper et marcher. Les enfants se déplacent avec aisance et légèreté, pleins de curiosité pour le monde qui les entoure. Connaître et expérimenter les mouvements du développement, du roulé à la marche autonome, nous donne de nouvelles clés de compréhension des dynamiques sensori-motrices à l’œuvre dans le moindre geste, tout comme des perspectives d’interventions possibles dans la réhabilitation des handicaps neuromoteurs. En faisant l’expérience de ces mouvements fondateurs dans leur corps propre, les parents, les éducateurs ou les thérapeutes, peuvent trouver des sources d’inspiration pour accompagner et soutenir les enfants.

Le Body-Mind Centering® (BMC) se base sur les mouvements de développement, sur les étapes et les transitions du processus d’apprentissage que le bébé franchit au cours de sa première année de vie. La naissance marque le passage d’un environnement fluide vers un champ gravitationnel qui nous accompagne tout au long de notre vie. Faire face au poids, trouver la force et l’organisation nécessaires pour s’éloigner de la terre, apprivoiser la chute, constituent l’étayage fondamental de nos mouvements en tant qu’adultes, et dessinent un cadre cohérent pour des interactions sensibles et des interventions douces avec les enfants.

Thomas Greil, praticien et enseignant de BMC, s’est spécialisé dans l’étude du développement du mouvement chez les nourrissons et applique ce savoir aux approches de réhabilitation des enfants ayant des troubles neuromoteurs ou du neurodéveloppement. 
Thomas est également praticien et thérapeute JKA, une approche spécifiquement destinée aux enfants et fondée sur la méthode Feldenkrais. 
Il associe ces compétences à une longue expérience clinique auprès des enfants en situation de handicap.

Il travaille au sein de « minima somatica », noyau de pratique et recherche dans le domaine de l’éducation somatique, basé à Faenza (RA), en Italie.

In this workshop we will explore through the lense of
Body-Mind Centering(R) how we can wake up basic
developmental movement abilities in ourselves. This allows
us to move and adjust our movements with more ease,
and to help others taking developmental steps.
The workshop is for parents, educators and therapists.
No previous experience is required.

A baby seems to learn without effort to lift the head, to roll, come to sitting, crawling, and walking. Children move with a sense of lightness, ease, and curiosity for the world. Knowing and experiencing the developmental movements from rolling to walking by oneself opens a new understanding of children with special needs and gives new perspectives in the work with them. Parents, educators or therapist need to experience in their own bodies these foundational movements, to facilitate them in others.

Body-Mind Centering(R) (BMC) is based on developmental movement, developmental steps and transitions a baby makes during the first year of life. Birth marks the transition from a fluid environment to the gravitational field, which accompanies us throughout life. Coping with weight, finding the strength and organization to move away from the earth, managing falling or
not falling, is foundational for how we move as adults, and provides a frame for gentle interventions with children.

Thomas Greil, practitioner, and teacher of BMC, specialized in infant movement development, in application with children with special needs. He is also a JKA practitioner and therapist, a method specifically addressed to children based on the Feldenkrais approach. Thomas has many years of
experience with children. He is part of “minima somatica”
, a nucleus of practice and research in the field of somatic education founded together with Carla Bottiglieri and based in
