- **Event Description**: Catch Michael Daves & Jacob Jolliff celebrating their new album release and kicking off summer registration for Winter Village Music Camp.About this EventWinter Village Music is excited to present the high-energy bluegrass duo of Michael Daves and Jacob Jollif at the Community School of Music & Art's Martha Hamblin Hall (on CSMA's 3rd floor) to celebrate the release of their new recording, We Like Jim & Jesse!. The recording is a tribute to first-generation bluegrass legends Jim & Jesse and the Virginia Boys, Michael's debut album with mandolinist extraordinaire Jacob Jolliff, and the third release on Michael's new label, Wild Geranium Records. The duo is touring throughout the US and Europe during the spring and summer to share their music and this concert will be their only performance in Upstate New York. We Like Jim & Jesse! is streaming everywhere, and CD/download is available on Bandcamp.The concert is also the kickoff for Winter Village Music Camp's 2027 weekend registration, which begins on Father's Day, the first day of summer, Sunday, June 21st.Naomi Sommers, Rick Manning and Dave Davies will be opening the show with a short set of 5 or 6 songs.Tickets for the show cost $25 for adults, $20 for Seniors, and $15 for Students & CSMA Members(ticket prices include Eventbrite fees).WORKSHOPS: Michael and Jacob are offering workshops from 3:00 to 4:45 pm on Saturday afternoon at CSMA before their evening show. Michael 's workshop will be on bluegrass lead and harmony vocals. Jacob's will explore playing mandolin solos and learning how to play up the neck. Workshops cost $40 for adults and $35 for Seniors, Students, and CSMA members.Concert and Workshop Packages are available on the Daves and Jolliff workshop event pages. Cost for concert and a workshop packages are $55 for adults or $50 for Seniors, Students and CSMA members.
