# Event Details

- **Event Name**: Hound Dog Homecoming
- **Event Start and End Date**: Sun, 11 Oct, 2026 at 01:00 pm – Sun, 11 Oct, 2026 at 04:00 pm
- **Event Description**: Coming this October: Stay Wild is excited to announce… HOUND DOG HOMECOMING! ?

We loved hosting Poodle Prom last year and wanted to carry on the tradition this fall, so we’re bringing you the joys of homecoming without the high school drama. No cliques or awkward slow dances (unless you’re into that?). Just good dogs, good people, and a good cause! Join us for a dog fashion show, Homecoming King & Queen crowning… and a VERY special announcement ?

This event is FREE to attend, though we're looking for some much-needed items to help us better serve the cats and dogs in our care! Bring donations (or cash) to earn voting tickets: the more items you bring, the more votes you can cast for Homecoming Queen & King – plus, each vote is also an entry into our door prize raffle basket!

Can't attend the whole event? Our Homecoming Court will be walking the runway at 3pm, so make sure to be there then if you want your pup to have a shot at being crowned! The door prize drawing will be held at the end of the event, but you don't need to present to win the drawing – just stop by any time before 4pm to cast your votes and enter the raffle!

So open up your planners and write down your homework: join Stay Wild at the Strand Cafe on 10/11/2026 from 1-4pm for a howling good homecoming!

? All proceeds and donations support Stay Wild Rescue! ?
