Tompkins County Public Library — BorgWarner Room
101 East Green Street, Ithaca, United States
This winter, the Center for Racial Justice and Equitable Futures will be hosting engaging community read of Dr. Keisha Blain's newest book, Without Fear: Black Women and the Making of Human Rights.
Even before they were recognized as citizens of the United States, Black women understood that the fights for civil and human rights were inseparable. Over the course of two hundred years, they were at the forefront of national and international movements for social change, weaving connections between their own and others’ freedom struggles.
All registered participants will be able to pick up a free copy of Without Fear from community locations in December.
Participants are also warmly invited to attend Dr. Blain's Black History Month lecture at Cornell University on Wednesday, February 11, 2026.
Also check out other Workshops in Ithaca.
Tickets for Community Book Read: Without Fear by Keisha N. Blain can be booked here.
