She is certified in Plant-Based Nutrition through e-Cornell and has a Masters Degree in Education. She raised her daughter vegan since birth. In January of 2020 she switched from a vegan diet to a whole food plant-based vegan diet and has been reaping the benefits ever since. She also has a non-commercial farm where she grows fruits and vegetables using veganic methods, growing without the use of any animal inputs.
