The concert, which will be held in cooperation with Vera and Hammer Music Organization, will be quite different from what we have seen so far. A memorable farewell awaits us as a multi-media show with giant screens adorned with the most important moments of the famous tenor's life and brilliant career. In this very special show, you may see a scene from his first "The Three Tenors" concert at the Roman Baths of Caracalla. Or you may be transported to the premiere of Leonard Bernstein's West Side Story. Thanks to these visuals, Jose Carreras' farewell tour promises us a never-before-seen classical concert experience.At the age of 6, Jose Carreras, who was interested in music with his admiration for the famous American tenor Mario Lanza and started his musical life by studying piano and voice with the support of his grandfather Salvador Coll, an amateur baritone, started conservatory education at the age of 8. The famous tenor made his debut at the Gran Teatre Del Liceu at the age of 11. In 1970, he won the Voci Verdiane, one of the most prestigious competitions in Parma, in 1971, making a name for himself with his work with Nabucco and Lucrezia Borgia.  Carreras, who advanced rapidly in his musical career by performing in Italy for the first time, gained recognition in a short time by performing with famous sopranos in many cities, especially New York, San Francisco and London. Carreras reached the most spectacular performance of his career with the "3 Tenors" concerts with Placido Domingo and Luciano Pavarotti, reaching an audience of approximately 2 million people. Don't miss José Carreras' last concert in Turkey, which will take place in the magical atmosphere of Ülker Sports and Events Hall with the contributions of main media sponsor NTV.
