You are welcome to attend at any stage of your pregnancy to help you prepare for your baby’s arrival. At the start of the session, please let us know if there is a particular topic you would like information or guidance on. The usual topics of discussion are:Meeting your baby and caring for them in hospitalNormal newborn behaviour (and who to contact if you are concerned)Sleep (baby’s and yours) and safety around sleeping environmentsCar seatsBathing and skin careNappiesVisitors and support from friends and familyDue to limited spaces, we ask that only those who are booked to have their baby at West Middlesex University Hospital or Chelsea & Westminster Hospital attend these sessions. If you are unable to make your session, please reschedule as soon as you can. If you are bringing a partner, parent or friend who will be supporting you after the birth, please ensure you have booked a place for them too. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU AGREE TO "FOLLOW" THIS EVENT, AS THIS WILL ENSURE THAT FOLLOW-UP EMAILS (WHICH WILL CONTAIN FURTHER COMMUNICATION ABOUT THE WORKSHOP AND ANY VENUE CHANGES) DO NOT GET LOST IN YOUR JUNK MAIL.
