Start your day at the beach doing good things when it's quieter & cooler than the rest of the day. Our Wednesday Breakfast Club volunteers clean up from 7-8 am. We welcome you to join us for the full hour but only ask for 30 minutes of your time.
Sign in as late as 7:25 am at the beach access in the 1100 block of Ocean Boulevard at Front Beach by Smugglers & Coconut Joe’s - NOT at IOP County Park - that's 3 blocks away. You will find us in the nook between the restroom building with the IOP mural and the outdoor showers.
Our volunteers are citizen scientists who work in teams and record our data in the aquarium's Litter Journal. Supplies provided.

Paid parking on Ocean Boulevard and in the city parking lots off Pavilion Drive starts at 8 am during the summer.
Pick up an IOP cleanup magnet for free parking in the city lots for an hour before, during and after our litter sweeps - including our Monday night litter sweeps.
Watch our Facebook page for possible weather cancellation. If there's thunder, lightning or other safety risks, stay off the beach.
