Ok folks for the past few years I have felt the need to keep getting our youth more involved and interested in snowmobiling and after a lot of brainstorming and talking with my gorgeous wife Courtney Bancroft and I have decided to do a kids ride. I want our youth to experience the no strings attached enjoyment of life. I want them to be able to have that time with them selves to just ride and forget about their stressors in this modern world.
A little backstory… We do one locally here every year and it has been absolutely amazing to see the passion the kids get for the sport and how their peers can push them to do better. They always seem more energized and focused. They create new friendships and bonds that will hopefully lead to future riding groups as they progress and will continue to push the sport. THIS IS OUR FUTURE!!
Depending on how much interest we get in this event will determine the location. The idea would be to all meet and break out into different riding groups and go for a ride (parents must be present). After the ride we will meet back at the parking lot for a BBQ at no cost and a giveaway for kids in each age group. If you think this is something your family would be interested in please send me a message the more input the better this will be.
There are a few catches with it.
1. It’s not a sponsored or sanctioned ride. Bring your kids and their sleds and come for a ride with friends.
2. We will have different areas to ride depending on age and experience.
3. Date will be Feb 7th based on a large amount of people wanting that day
