Margalla Trail Runners is presenting the 3rd the edition of Trail Running Race Series on different trails of Margalla Hills. The race series consists of 3 races; Short Medium and Long-distance races.
The basic objective of the Race Series is to understand navigation skills. Participants have to select any route for the uphill and downhill runs. The start and finish points are the same. Just participants must have to reach the defined spot where the race marshal will note down the bib numbers of the race participants.
This is the first race of the series which is a short race of 5 to 7 or 5 to 10 kilometers starting and finishing at Trail 3 Car Parking.
All the participants can take any route to the only compulsory checkpoint Trail 3 Top ( https://goo.gl/maps/y92ACnCCWP3SAtX66) as shown in the picture and must come back to the finish line at the Trail 3 Car parking. It’s your responsibility to make sure the race marshal at the checkpoint has noted down your bib number.

Meeting Time: 07:00 am at Trail 3 Parking Islamabad Pakistan.
Race Starting Time: 08:00 am
Level: Easy to Intermediate
Cut-off Time: 2.5 hours
Distance: 5 to 7/10km
Ascent: 600 meters.
Shoes: Trail or Multi-terrain Shoes
Race Route: Starting point Trail 3 parking Touch to Trail 3 Top ( https://goo.gl/maps/y92ACnCCWP3SAtX66) and back to Trail 3 parking. Participants can select any route of their choice and convenience
