Snow-hike on Miranjani
Winters are going strong this year, and in full swing. Best time perhaps to head north and enjoy the snowy hike on Miranjani Peak – Highest peak in Galiyat Region with an altitude of approx 10,000 ft above Sea Level.
Date & Time: For Lahore Participants: 12th of January 2019, Saturday (1 AM (i.e. night of Friday))
Gathering point: EFU House parking, Gulberg, Lahore
6:00 AM Arrival in Islamabad
Pick up of Islamabad Participants from I-8 Markaz Islamabad.
We leave for Nathiagali at 6:30 AM Inshallah.
Breakfast can be had in Islamabad / Murree (time dependent)
We will INSHALLAH arrive at Nathiagali by 10:30 AM, and start the Hike by 11:00 AM. We are expected to reach the top by 2:00 PM INSHALLAH from where we will start our descent at 2:30 PM and will reach back in Nathiagali at 4:30.
Lunch & unwinding: 4:30 to 5:30 PM
We will set off for Islamabad at 5:30 PM inshaAllah, and will arrive at around 8:00 PM InshaAllah, continuing south, we hope to Arrive in Lahore by 1 AM.
Charges: Rs. 3,500 per Head from Lahore and Rs 2,200 per head from Islamabad

Hiking Level: Moderate
Weather is expected to be cold, so dress up in Layers, use of Mufflers, Snow Gaiters, Gloves and Warm caps is recommended
Snow/Rain is expected on the trek, so everyone should have a raincoat and you are advised to wear warm trekking shoes / Joggers (Keeping an extra pair of shoes / socks in advised).
Carry & apply Sun-block to avoid getting sun-burns

Galiyat weather is quite unpredictable this time of the year and snow/rain can cause unexpected delays, through road blockages/traffic congestion or any other uncontrollable situation. We will try our best to follow the given time-frame, however, situations above cannot be planned for or avoided sometimes. Kindly understand the risks and inconvenience involved in trips to such areas and in such situations. Rocks & Meadows will not be responsible for any delay/loss/inconvenience caused by events beyond its control.
