MHRs Hill/Trail Run: Trails of Galliyat Mountains Run (Changla, Kuza Gali Pipeline, Ayubia Pipeline, Dunga Gali, Mushkpuri & Miranjani Peaks)
The trails of Galliyat Mountains are the most beautiful, scenic, and one of the best routes for trail and hill running. Trails of Galliyat are located in Galliyat, Abbottabad District of KPK, Pakistan. Trails of Galliyat are part of Ultra-Trails of Galliyat Mountains (UTMG). UTMG is a sequence of multiple trails of Galliyat, and trails are linked/connected to one another and start from Thandiyni and finish at Khaira Gali or vice versa. Trails of Galliyat's Run total distance will be around 34 kilometers and 1200-meter ascent and we will start running from Khaira Gali and finish at Miranjani base after summiting the Miranjani Peak.
The basic objective of the Trail of Galliyat Run to familiarize the trails of Galliyat and almost half of the UTMG route will be covered. Before going to attempt UTMG in a group (Thandiyani to Khaira Gali on 11th July 2020. Please go to the Margalla Hills Runners Facebook page for the event details). MHRs is organizing a recce trail run, Trails of Galliyat Run. So, long-distance hill/trail runners must participate in the event and test their endurance hill/trail run at a high altitude before going attempt the UTMG. MHRs also organize weekly (on Sundays) long-distance hill/trail runs at different trail Margalla Hills. Therefore, time starts to participate in the long-distance hill/trail running event and train yourself accordingly.

Shoes: Trail or Multi-terrain Shoes.
Cost/Charges: 2000 PKR (Transport, Breakfast, Lunch-cum-dinner, Toll Taxes, Tickets. Charges per person can slightly go up if total expenses increase from the budgeted amount)
Hydration & Food: 1 to 2 water, Dates, Chocolates, Bananas, ORS, etc.
Gears: Trail running waist or 5 to 10 litter running beg, Rain Jacket, extra Socks, full sleeve shirt, Sunglasses, hat/cap.

Khaira Gali → Pipeline Trek of Kuza & Changla Gali Trek → Ayubia Pipeline Trek → Dunga Gali → Mushkpuri top → Lalazar Park trek → Nathia Gali → Miranjani trek → Miranjani Top → Back to Miranjani base.
Note: Participants must carry their CNIC/Passport.

4. Nathiagali-Lalazar trek Downhill from Mushkpuri peak

Hydration and Food Supplies:
You must have carry running waist or 5 to 10 litter running beg with water and food. *OTHERWISE* participants can refuel from Tuck Shops at Ayubia, Dunga Gali or Nathia Gali at their convenience.
Make sure you must have to fully hydrate yourself (do not worry about PEE) drink water as much as possible and consume more and more carbs food a day before the trails of Galliyat mountains day (on Saturday 5thth June 2021). On the day, early morning, we’ll take breakfast in the way.
