- **Event Description**: Get a head start on Pakistan’s most scenic race! Margalla Trail Runners (MTR) is hosting the first of two official recce runs to familiarize participants with the Galiyat Mountain Trail (GMT) 60k, 40k, and 20k race routes.

Whether you are preparing for the iTRA (International Trail Running Association) and UTMB Index races on 19th July 2026 or just want a high-altitude challenge, this session is the perfect endurance test. This route covers the full 20k course, some portion of the 40k race route, and more than half of the 60k race.

Gear & Nutrition
Shoes: Trail or multi-terrain shoes are mandatory.
Gear: 5–10L running vest/bag, rain jacket, sunglasses, and cap.
Fuel: 1–2L water, ORS, dates, chocolates, and bananas.

Note: Participants are responsible for their own Ayubia National Park entry tickets.
