Ahmer Farooq is an artist, entrepreneur, and manager based in Lahore. He has a rich and diverse set of accomplishments and achievements that span over a number of years from art, theater, art show curator, research work, management, consultancy, event management to acting. 

Starting from a young age, Ahmer honed his artistic and creative talents through formal and informal training. He completed his basic art education from Bedford Modern School and continued on to develop his broader professional skills with a MBA from Imperial College, London. 

He has been working as the Communication Head for his company, Nirala Sweets Ltd. since a number of years. Ahmer is passionate about utilizing his artistic skills at his work at Nirala, where he manages the design house and works on packaging, product, and store design.  

Ahmer works with mixed medium to produce contemporary art that depicts current concerns, anxieties, aspirations, personalities, and movements in an evocative and alluring manner. His artwork has been showcased in various venues in UK and Pakistan. Starting from his exhibitions in UK to more recent showings in Pakistan. He has exhibited his work and curated showcases at Al-Hamra Art Gallery in Lahore in 2000, 2002, and 2014. His solo show exhibiting his collection entitled "The Secrets of Eve" was sold-out when it opened to the public in 2013 at The Drawing Room, Lahore. Ahmer's signature style and colorful palette has been recognized globally. He has been awarded The Stephen Medd Artist of the Year Award in 1999 and his art is also held in private collections in the UK, Denmark, Norway, UAE, USA, Pakistan, and India. Ahmer is excited to continue to produce striking art that speaks to him and he aims to increase his audience to an international scale over the next few years.
