Drawing on stories told to him by local miners, Jamerson combines stories, with original songs played with his guitar to create a program as entertaining as it is important. His show is about people both ordinary and extraordinary, with stories of strength, wit and charm. Dressed as an iron miner, Jamerson tells stories about the immigrant journey, the work underground, growing up as a child in the 1930’s, unionizing and mining disasters. He will perform original songs about the Barnes-Hecker, Breiting #5, Mansfield Mine near Crystal Falls and Pabst Mine in Ironwood.
