CALLING ALL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS IN DFW

Join us for ANTIQUITY DAY on Saturday, November 8, 2025, 9am-3pm

There will be contests, talks, presentations and performances that engage with antiquity and its enduring influence. $25/student = t-shirt and lunch. Cash and book prizes will be awarded for contest winners thanks to a grant from the CAMWS Committee for the Promotion of Latin and Greek. 

WHEN: Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025, 9 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
WHERE: Meet at the Haggar Art History Auditorium in the Haggerty Art Village at the University of Dallas
COST:  $25 per student includes t-shirt and lunch; Adults receive t-shirt and lunch free for every four students registered. Please register by October 18.

Recitations should demonstrate scansion and classical pronunciation, comprehension and good eye contact with the audience; Extra Points will be given for a fully memorized recitation, creative costuming or props
