Learn how embryonic and induced pluripotent stem cells are used in regenerative medicine. Students will perform common laboratory stem cell techniques including cell culturing, embryoid body, and pluripotent characterization using embryonic stem cells. High school or college students with a deep interest in pursuing academic research opportunities and/or careers in biotechnology are encouraged to sign up.
Class size is limited to 8 students to ensure low student-instructor ratios, social distancing, and a rich educational experience. This is an in-person 1-day course.
