Funding Immigration Work in 2018

Funding Immigration Work in 2018

Please join Orange County Grantmakers, the OC Opportunity Initiative, Grantmakers Concerned with Immigrants and Refugees (GCIR), and the Immigrant Legal Resource Center for an in-depth discussion on national and state trends around funding immigration work, as well as what is happening locally in Orange County.

We invite Orange County-based funders to attend and learn more about how to maximize giving impact in the area of immigration as well as where to “plug-in” with existing local initiatives and non-profits to share best practices, case studies and learnings around funding immigration efforts.

Daranee Petsod

CA President with GCIR, who will share national updates as to how funders are coming together to support immigration work, and how they are responding to the changing federal landscape of immigration in light of recent policy decisions

Sara Feldman

CA Project Director for the Immigrant Legal Resource Center who has been working closely with Orange County over the last couple of years and will share updates on the county’s immigrant integration efforts.

Jason Lacsamana & Adriana Moreno

Leads with the OC Opportunity Initiative, they will share updates on what is already happening in Orange County, and the nonprofits currently engaged in the space.
