BHS Trailer Safety Day

Horses often need to be transported, either in a horse box or trailer. Whether you are transporting a horse for veterinary care, to an event or elsewhere, it's essential to make sure you and the horse are safe at all times. The event will include:
Alan Hiscox, British Horse Society (safety introduction)
Des Payne, British Horse Society and Ayrshire Trailers (pre-travel checks and safety equipment)
Nithcree Training (hitching up, unhitching, reversing, visibility and manoeuvring techniques)
Jane Ogilvie, Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (large animal rescue)
SPARC and Police Scotland Traffic (crime prevention and road policing)
Open to all.
Free event (tea/coffee will be provided).
